Hello English

This project is a functional prototype Rich Internet Application (RIA) to support the 'Hello English' series of primary school textbooks. Its interactive learning activities allow students to consolidate skills they have learnt using the textbook. The prototype features a Content Management System to allow the textbook's authors to add new activities to the application as they are written. In the full version teachers would be able to view breakdowns of their student's performance.

The application was created with Adobe Flex. ColdFusion pages query an Access database and supply XML data to the application.

The application was created as a final project for the MSc Interactive Multimedia at the University of Westminster.
